Off to Darra Industrial Development
July was a busy month for GB Electrics. The highlight of the month was this 10 metre, 3 section switchboard for Darra Industrial Development.
Our customer specifically requested that this board be delivered to site all in one. Using Franna cranes we manoeuvred this massive switchboard out of our factory and onto the truck safely for delivery.
This custom-made board was completed by our in-house manufacturing departments. Our ability to turn around a job quickly was a benefit to our customer on this project.
What sets us apart from other Brisbane switchboard builders is having an on-site powder coating division and router to quickly cut cleats and fit bus bar.
The special design of this board sees all of the supply authority CT’s all together on one side of the board. Instead of having meter panels with their respective CT chambers spread out over the board. Even though this board had 3 sections joined together we were able to maintain an IP rating of 56.
